Privacy policy
This policy explains what Shenzhen Qixi Commerce Co., Ltd ("we") does with personal data on https://www.coideals.com ("this site"). It is written to be read, not to be legal cover — the short version is in the first paragraph of each section.
What we collect
When you order
Short version: the details needed to hand a parcel to a carrier and tell you it moved.
- Name, delivery address, email address and, if you choose to give it, a phone number.
- The items and quantities you bought, the order value and the order reference.
- The tracking number and delivery status returned by the carrier.
Payment details
Short version: we never see your card number.
Checkout is completed on PayPal's own pages (and on any other payment processor we enable later). PayPal is the merchant of record for the transaction and applies its own privacy policy to the payment data. We receive a confirmation and an order reference, not your card number, expiry date, or security code.
When you just browse
Short version: the site is served as static pages, so browsing does not put you in a database.
- Pages are pre-rendered HTML. Nothing about which products you looked at is stored against you by us.
- The cart is kept in your own browser (localStorage) until you check out; clearing the site data clears it.
- Our hosting provider may record standard server logs — IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent — for abuse prevention and billing. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels on this site.
- No analytics cookies are set, so no consent banner is needed and no cross-site tracking happens.
Why we keep it and for how long
- Order records: kept while they are needed for accounting and tax, and for the return and warranty windows. In practice 7–10 years where a tax obligation requires it.
- Email correspondence: kept until the issue is closed, then deleted unless a dispute is open.
- Newsletter addresses: kept until you unsubscribe. One click, or one reply saying "remove me", is enough.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to complete the order, and only the minimum data each of them needs:
- PayPal — processes the payment.
- The fulfilment warehouse and the carrier — receive your name, delivery address and parcel weight.
- Our hosting and email providers — process data on our instruction under their own terms.
- Authorities, only where we are legally required to disclose something.
We do not sell, rent or trade customer data, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
International transfers
Our business is registered in China and our warehouse and carriers operate across borders, so a delivery to you necessarily means your name and address travel to the destination country and back through the carrier's network. Where a recipient country requires a transfer safeguard, the standard contractual clauses used by our carriers and processors apply to that movement.
Your rights
Whatever your country, write to <a href="mailto:support@coideals.com?subject=Data%20request">support@coideals.com</a> and we will: confirm what we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it. If deletion conflicts with a tax record we must keep, we say so and delete the rest. We respond within 30 days and do not charge for a first request.
If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK or California you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority or, in California, to opt out of sale — a right that is not exercised here because we do not sell data. If you order from elsewhere, local consumer and data-protection law still applies to you on the same terms we offer everyone.
Children
This site sells office and household hardware and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data; if a child has given us information, tell us and we delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Order data is stored in a database that is not reachable from the public web, backups are encrypted, and only named staff can read customer addresses. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we say so here and put the date of the last revision at the bottom of the page. Continued use of the shop after a change means you accept it.
